2017 Contract Negotiation Update

To All CWA Local 4340 Members @ Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts

Our current contract with Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts and CWA Local 4340 is set to expire December 31, 2017.  The Union Bargaining Committee and the County are still in productive negotiations.  While we have reached tentative agreements on several items, some of your most important bargaining survey items are still being discussed.

The Union and County have agreed to temporarily extend the current contract while we work through these final items.  This means that all of your contractual rights will remain in effect during the temporary extension.  Your Bargaining Committee is committed to bring a fair contract back to be voted on by the membership when an agreement has been reached.  Please stay in contact with your Stewards for any updates.
